The classic from Pelikan is sovereign. The black and green striped coat is a worldwide symbol for the Pelikan brand. The production of the Souverän coat is subject to a complex process, because according to a recipe specially developed for Pelikan, a striped piece of material is made from cotton material in many steps, which is bent and then ground to the contour with a diamond. The gold-plated rings on the handle and cap are fitted with the utmost precision before the writing instrument is polished to a high gloss. The slightly springy, typical Pelikan beak clip gives this high-quality writing instrument its unmistakable design. The Souverän R800 rollerball is equipped with a black rollerball refill.
